Symptoms of low sodium can include headache, confusion, weakness, and unsteadiness, and can become serious if severe. Older adults and people taking diuretics are generally at higher risk. Trazodone's FDA label specifically lists hyponatremia among the serious risks to discuss with a prescriber.
